I got it working, the owner of the guide for region changing made a new plug-in to fix the failed region change

Thank god for them I probably would’ve bricked my Wii U otherwise

Now I need to figure out how to get games, I heard you’re supposed to use an HDD but I don’t have one so I’m gonna use a usb stick and if it gets worn out womp womp

Might buy one later down the line

My Wii U arrived 5 days early!

Installed the CFW needed to region change it and I will region change it soon, I have somewhere to go first unfortunately

Update on my Wii U:

It’s a Japanese Wii U since they’re cheaper, so I’ll need to change the region via modding it to play NA games

Unfortunately, the process of changing the region seems incredibly confusing to me, and I have fallen down many rabbit holes trying to figure out how to do it

Originally I was just going to install Aroma and then change the language via a plug-in but I found something that allows me to completely change the region of the Wii u, but it’s confusing and they said it’s risky

I talked to the owner of the guide on discord and cleared a few things up, I’ll probably ask him for more help if I’m confused during the process
