Dude i just lost 475 pages worth of effort on iOS because i accidentally swiped out on the app, i didn’t even fully close it and it was best animation yet, i wish there was a feature that saves where you left off whenever you close the app besides the manual saving feature.

unfortunately it can’t, once you leave the app it’s up to the system if the app can persist in memory (any app, not just stick nodes)
so even if SN began a saving procedure, since you left the app ios/android can just yeet it out of existence
i do wish mobile devices nowadays gave a setting/toggle to allow you to PROTECT certain apps from every having that happen or at least warn the user
