1) you’re putting too much work into it, looks like you have a *lot* of frames going in to just 1 step

it depends on your style, but you don’t need that many, that’s a lot of work

2) needs some up-and-down motion

here’s an overly-cartoony example

for animating things like walking, it’s easiest to make the key frames first (the poses in the image above)

then go back and put in the in-between frames (using the onion skin as a guide)
