the main reason I used to use base figs was because I never actually stretched or squashed anything
im pretty good with detailed figs now because of that
use base figs when starting out, use detailed figs later. don’t use base figs for your whole career lol

Exactly. Base figs should only be used later in your career when your half asleep and can barely animate and just wanna do a quick skit
in actuality, I can’t animate base figs since theyre so underdetailed

Yeah. I’ve also proven the ‘you can’t move limbs efficiently’ argument to be completely false by doing a quick anim of a Hyper Knight kicking towards the screen by swapping out the leg with a simple version
