late to the party but trump\’s 325,000 children stat seems to be based on a report that ICE began transferring unaccompanied migrant children to the HHS (which they are required by law to do) but that many of the children either did not show up to their court hearings or they were not provided to them. this also goes back to the trump admin
whether that\’s true or not (ICE disagrees with the report) this is a problem solved by better equipping our immigration agencies to deal with these kinds of problems, but trump in the clip above the tweet you sent, in addition to just sort of randomly guessing that they\’re being trafficked without any evidence, seems to have either no solution or wants them to have been turned away and left in the environment that was supposedly trafficking them to begin with. ???
