I don’t believe there are any ‘ex’ administrations or moderators. Unless you wanna count Jim who’s a bot and Mike who fixes the website when it breaks (I think??????)

his name is isagi yoichi hes a character from the blue lock animanga if you ever heard of it, you should definetly watch it its a football anime that has more realistic logic to it and none of that stupid \”take this!! fire shot!!!\” ive even learnt some real life values from it i totally recommend it
for those interested, it has a surprising amount of pretty boys, and a strange yaoi aura, although no romance is involved like at all it still feels weirldy gay with the amount of pretty boys
-
okay so uh making a stickfigure using pc will lead me to dying a horrible death and i cant use my phone either because its really glitchy
so lemme just ask if anyone would be interested in a stickfigure of this lil feller

a movie of all time
Okay, I may sound like I’m joking but, I never bothered to watch the first Spiderverse nor the new one because I simply cannot stand choppy animation
I dunno, I’m so used to seeing amazing animators on Hyun’s Dojo and Newgrounds that, anything that’s below 30 FPS just looks jarring to me.
But who knows, I may be missing out
It’s leagues above anything there so , give it a watch
Horrid take
Yes I know, judging a show by it’s animation style is the big cringe
But, maybe I’ll watch both movies when they come out on a streaming service soon, I wanna see what that 95% audience score on Rotten Tomato is all about.
Indeed it’s a very good movie
Here’s a good video on “choppy” animation
heavily disagree. Choppy animation rules when done correctly. Sometimes animation when it’s too smooth or interpolated or essentially tweened has always been really jarring and nasty in my opinion. I never liked seeing tweened or interpolated or 60 fps animation. Sometimes it gets worse the smoother it becomes. Its attempts at trying to be so realistic, real, and smooth it loses its fantastical element to it. Spiderverse tackles this very well though, as in the first spiderverse miles is animated entirely in 2s (meaning he’s purposely left a little choppy) until he gets his suit, then he’s animated in 1s like the rest of the spidermen, it’s an amazing way to show growth. A showing how miles began choppy and messy and is now a full blown Spider-Man, in the new movie miles is animated in 1s but some scenes are still choppy to keep that ‘aesthetic’. It’s visual masterpiece overall
