So, I now have it figured out. The number one problem with Nest. Getting the characters to go into the aforementioned Nest. I have it now. The hordes, Jesse, the hordes.

One of the original plot points happens to be about the hordes that go across Jormungandr. Canonically, they’re feared more then the many storms and hurricanes that wreak havoc on the town yearly. That’s because of how vast they are. Some span entire countries, and take days to pass their towns. It’s the worst thing about the spring season, but the aftermath is worth the wait. The cast is stuck because of this. Unable to leave the mall, and not wanting to even if they could, they only have one option. To find a way to contact someone in Jormungandr to insure their rescue when the horde passes. How, you ask? The mall is not only a mall, but a plaza. A tourist attraction made in elaborate ways to keep people interested, and that includes a radio station.
We preface this being an option during the car ride that Willem and Eiley go on. They play music on the radio of the car. Jormungandr has a radio station that they continuously play music on to bring survivors to the town. They could contact that, have people operating it in town pick it up and send help. However, the station in the mall is on the other side. Our characters will need to make a journey through the mall, and eventually, through the Nest.
This is multiple paragraphs so I know no one will read it, but I’m proud of myself for figuring it out so I wanted to post about it.
