Just some extra note. To anyone who was affected by this and clicked on the ip fetching link. You should actually be fine as long as you didn’t download anything or smth.
There’s two kinds of IPs, one on your pc and one on your router… When browsing web your IP is the one on router which is like a barrier.
Though if it would somehow get your pc IP then it’s more problematic. But not very likely. If you feel insecure you can always do some device scans.
Generally it’s just troll throwing empty threats to screw around and make people worry, either that or they are too dumb to understand what IP actually is.
