It works like dis: 2 sticks one behind another, cuz 1 stick doesn’t cover enough. The 2nd stick goes to the place of 1st one. And that’s how loop is made. I disabled tween stickfigure on last frame but it will just lead to stick standing in place so idk. If it was one stick it would just go up and down, yeah?

Ah so you’re the one of those people that are late to the party with the fact version for beta testers was out 2 weeks ago-
Tho only me heckray and dezway can have it so don’t get ur hopes up yet that it’s out-

Ralph thought of looking if he can improve glow and blur somehow (discussed with heckray). But how it’s supposed to be rendered its kinda limited in its own coding. So doubt that radial blur would exist. For entire glow you can just use tint. Unless you mean inner glow that goes from the edges.
Disort is prob nono considering I don’t even know how you want to have that work- like the only distort I know is just like free transform but that’s like perspective and its prob massive no from Ralph.
Also unsure what you mean with transparency and shadow thing. Like… If you want to make shadows you will be able to make a tinted movieclip that appears behind the normal movieclip and you have a shadow-
But I’m guessing you simply mean transparent object not intersecting.
Honestly idk how that thing would be doable in terms of coding etc. But you can do stuff like that with movieclip cuz you could have non transparent combination of objects turn transparent as one group. For example fullbody stick that uses multiple elements fading out. That will be doable in 3.0.0
Unless you plan on having other uses then can’t really help ya with that.

It’s actually really simple bulid. Have the main “handle”. From that handle make a circle of segments that are in the radius of the handle. Then get the handle go back to the middle and branch out from middle every 45 degrees. Then put trapezoid at the ends of it.
It’s smart stretch compatible but breaks if you stretch it out or too much in.

Considering how fast we are with finding bugs and also giving direct feedback etc I can assume it is

Mmmmmm…. I suggest making a group that is all about the BETA update… Ya know… Post this kinds of beta things out there… Just a suggestion!
-
Replying to:
There’s beta tester group where Ralph posts changelogs there, we post suggestions, bug reports etc.
But we don’t really need the beta group to post stuff. In fact people will end up believing it’s a place to become beta tester and demand us to let them in the private group-

ooo, cog backgrounds
things like that gonna just be neat background scenery
also dat smart-stretch

Cogs were 2nd thing I came up with when movieclips were announced. Mainly cuz I was addicted to this song and visuals. It’s pretty neat.
And yeah… I am basically gonna try to attempt to bring in the Japanese video style to Stick Nodes cuz I like covering grounds no one attempted lmao.

Ah yes, creating one node than another of the same size and creating a cog and smart stretching it. Very nice arc, also nice little addition with the animated movieclip cogs in the background.
-
Replying to:
The cog is just one stick- Every cog has no more than 1 stick used and they all come from same stick so lol. (aka only one stick in library)

This effect is Soo bad on low end devices like mine… Because IT’S SOO DAMN LAGGY
It’s friggin’ cool though… Like really…
It lags for everyo-
Then how did you successfully did this amazing effects…
http://sticknodes.com/members/arcionek/activity/522584/#acomment-522628
Also I simply add filters then move it around with filters disabled. Like cmon that’s a thing- I even came up with two new lag options-
That’s… What?… I don’t know that… Oh ok
Above filters or during playback you can turn off filters. That makes filters not lag as they are not being rendered. You can then animate it without a problem.
But if you’re set on keeping filters while animating there’s “Lag options?” button where you can turn on disabling onion skins or filters whenever you’re draggin a stick or camera.
Thanks bruv
wot issues?
last frame doesn’t tween into the first frame?
It works like dis: 2 sticks one behind another, cuz 1 stick doesn’t cover enough. The 2nd stick goes to the place of 1st one. And that’s how loop is made. I disabled tween stickfigure on last frame but it will just lead to stick standing in place so idk. If it was one stick it would just go up and down, yeah?
use 3 instead and make sure the 1st is off-screen at the end so the standing in one place isn’t noticeable?
maybe
idk i have to mess with this
getting tweening working with MCs was harder than I thought
originally was gonna have “do not tween this frame” on MC frames as well, but eventually realized that…wouldn’t work for reasons I can’t even articulate if I needed to
It think it still would do the same thing with freezing…
Only idea I have is that when the 2 are in frame, the 3rd one will go 0 opacity or just go round everything and go back on the top and finish the cycle…
But that hella destroys the amount of frames too :c
I seriously wish I could just set start and end frame and just say how long the transition is supposed to last- Since snow falls very slowly… So damn slowly that 50 frames cannot actually take it.
*thinking about letting MCs operate at a specificed fraction of the projects FPS*
*not getting immediately discouraged*
Btw some effects I do are just A and B with just 50/50 tween all the way. So maybe there could be potential for movieclips made such way that you can set the entire duration.
And wanted to make the tutorial specifically covering these
much cold
when you get a chance send me that project file i just wanna see whats what in the butt
I’m gonna have to recreate it so lole but ok
nvm then I was just curious don’t go out of your way
nah I still will.
Nothing can stop melow battery probs
Ironically was at 6% and Huawei shuts down on 2% but I still did it.
you’re lucky
mine shuts down at 14% promptly after the 15% warning sound has even finished playing
2% is actually hard coded and basically it gives me “oh shit boi you better hurry your ass up or I’m yeeting your shit in 30 seconds”
