Honestly can’t blame you. It actually takes quite a bit to make geniuenly original character.
From my experience, I suggest having to switch off your brain from the “everyone has oc’s so i must too” to making an oc… An actual character.Lemme explain it a bit. Have you noticed the amount of these “serious, edgy, silent, demonic” characters? These basically come out of the dense mindset that’s hard to get out of. It’s hard, I had gone through it myself. But simply try to invest into not the design… But the personality of the character. It’s legit fascinating when the character can end up making the looks by itself. Set up a character, distinquitive trait and what they do. Set them up in a scenario. Play in your head what character will do and how it will change them. Boom. You got looks, powers, and backstory ready.
So yea. It’s switching off the mindset to take the character making into more “proffesional” way. It’s hard to reach that. Had like… 3-5 characters to go through with dead ends but made me learn a lot. But lemme tell you… Once you get out of the sheepherd mentality, go your own path, and finally make your own thing that stands out. You will insanely enjoy animating this character, and everyone will enjoy seeing the character too.
I know. You asked me for ideas on the clothes etc. But that’s been a dead end of mine and also it’s best to make characters on your own without getting inspiration or ideas from others. That’s… What makes an unique character.
I still can help on that if you’re intereset in that sort of approach 😛

There’s two same movieclips. Movieclip on top has start frame X frames higher than the background one.
There’s basically start frame option on movieclips.

It’s… Bad-
The design is very simple and colours are way too bland and common

I geniuenly laughed at how agressive the title was. But it should be made so it’s changing your vote to sticknodes if you vote pivot.

I copied entire anim, pasted it into movieclip. Removed background. Then copied background and floor into two other movieclips.
And ye, it’s that old thingy.

The way the commander speaks is so quick it’s actually hard to distinguish normally. It is so fast that it feels like he’s saying first and last syllable of a sentence… At the same time-

Here’s lite version with a decent enough loop. In case Ralph wants to use it for teasers or smth for 3.0.0
Once again, credit to kiiroikat for original drawing.
