@ralph I had this thonking moment and what if we could import image sequence backgrounds.
Like the thing isn’t being saved on project, but takes from a folder containing sequence of pngs. That way I could have animated backgrounds or simply animate on low-res prerendered animation I did in other software.
Like every frame = next frame of image sequence. Ik there’s delays but prob will have to make movieclip timing system work for images etc which would be pain. Not to mention it would make image frame change when I don’t want to during delays so…

Ik it’s a joke and you kinda overreact to it but what kind of ego points are you gonna get by having some random dude on the internet apologising to you for a joke-

I think it’s better if you pulled up another device for references.
It’s not really for references. It’s more for this sort of things. https://youtu.be/o_mMLzZYjd8?t=257
its obviously doable, like, of course it is
but the question is with a lot of new ideas and features, is it worth my time to implement such a thing because to be honest, people aren’t as saavy as you and others when it comes to messing with a folder and naming files properly and having a proper sequence of images to “animate” etc
like 5 people would get use out of this, maybe 6
not to mention this would def not help lag, having to fetch an image from the filesystem and render it into the app at 60fps
its a good idea though and I’ve already though about this when I ever get around to working in multiple backgrounds
I understand and I guess have to take the sacrifice u-u
*imports new bg every frame and exports it as png then puts it as image sequence in editing app-*
me, an intellectual: combine all BGs into 1 image in a collage, and zoom-in with the vcam on the desired background section
That was actual trick people used in that Rhythm Doctor game I talked about earlier.
Sort of-
Also this method gey cuz no X Y input on sticks/vcam
what do you think this is, flash or something roflrofl
