Earth review: 🟡🟡⚫⚫⚫

I\’ve been playing Earth for a while and I just gotta say, why? That\’s what I what asking during my entire playthrough because there are just so much unnecessary mechanics in it.

First, the levels. Why does it take one entire year to go up one level? That may just be like %20 of our real life days, but there\’s a lot of people who don\’t have the time to play every day. And when you miss a day, but hop on the next, it doesn\’t make you play the day you missed.

It sends you to the next one. There is absolutely no reason to do that other than the game being \”immersive\” or whatever. It doesn\’t even tell you, you have to find out yourself by looking at a calendar, assuming your parent npcs bought one.

When you level up, you get a cool celebration that lasts the entire day and free items, which is cool, except for the fact that the items I get are never useful. I don\’t know if it\’s different for anyone else, but I think my family npcs have a bug where they don\’t buy items based off of the my interests system. I only ever get one or two items that does something like being my dopamine or intelligence bar up, and its always the ones that I request.

Secondly, the account creation process… Why? For some reason, the devs thought that it was a great idea to only give yourself a 1 in 400 trillion chance of a new account you created actually working. And even then, there\’s a chance that your character dies before they even reach level one.

Plus, you could also end up in a really terrible spawn like an abusive household, or a poor household, or a poor abusive household since the location you spawn in is randomly generated. You could also get debuffs like any of the disability debuffs, the single parent debuffs, the orphan debuffs, the minority debuffs, etc.

I know the devs say that being a minority isn\’t a debuffs, but that\’s pretty obviously a lie since the npcs always treat you differently if you have one, and depending on the type, it could literally make your mental health bar go down because of \”dysphoria\” or whatever but that\’s bullshit and we all know it. The devs brag about there being 117 billion accounts but I\’m sure most of them are just accounts that never ended up being activated, since there are only about 8 billion active players daily.

There\’s so much more I can add but I don\’t wanna make this too long. Tl;dr leveling up is dogshit and account creation process is terrible
