Inside of a Hangar,
Pvt James Lowell: Hey Miguel, why did you ever join the army?
Pvt. Idiota. EntΓ£o ele simplesmente me forΓ§a a ir para a guerra, como se eu fosse algum bicho de estimação… ou… ou um escravo… quer saber?… deixa pra lΓ‘.
*Miguel Leaves the room dropping his wrench and heads to the supply room for more tools and materials*
*James watches him go, exhaling a heavy sigh, turning back to the battered, broken prototype plane sitting in the center of the bay. The plane has been exposed of its wiring and dented paneling.*
*Footsteps echo in the hangar, another engineer, Sgt. Miller, walks in carrying a heavy welding mask and a toolbox. He glances in the direction Miguel went, then looks at James.*
Sgt. Miller: Hey Lowell. I heard some shouting over here from across the bay. What happened with Ferreira? He alright?
Pvt. James Lowell: *Shaking his head, picking up a tool* Just family stuff, Sarge. He needed to blow off some steam.
Sgt. Miller: *Nods, putting his toolbox down by the Harrier* Right. Well, let’s keep our heads on a swivel today. Command wants this prototype fully repaired, and they just added a whole new list of avionics upgrades we need to install.
*James pats the side of the jet. Suddenly, a hydraulic hiss escapes from the wing flap, making it twitch violently, scaring the shit out of James*
Sgt. Miller: Dammit! Watch yourself around this thing. The electrical systems are totally fried and completely unpredictable. If this system glitches while were working under the landing gear, it’ll crush us! Let’s get to work before Ferreira gets back.
*Before Miller can even open his toolbox, the heavy sliding door of the hangar office bangs open. A breathless courier, Corporal Hicks, jogs into the bay, looking around frantically until his eyes lock onto Miller*
Cpl. Hicks: Sergeant Miller! Thank god. Commander Vance needs you in Main Tech Support right now. The diagnostic server for the entire eastern grid just crashed, and you’re the only one who knows the override codes.
Sgt. Miller: Groans, rubbing his temples in frustration You’ve got to be kidding me. Hicks, I’m right in the middle of a delicate prototype overhaul here. Can’t someone else reboot the system?
Cpl. Hicks: Negative, Sarge. Vance was explicit. If you aren’t there in two minutes, he’s going to have a meltdown. It’s a priority one disruption.
Sgt. Miller: *Sighing heavily, turning to James* Unbelievable. Alright, Lowell, looks like you and Ferreira are on your own with this death trap for a bit. Do NOT touch the main power core until I get back. Clear?
Pvt. James Lowell: Got it, Sarge. Go handle the fire.
*Miller drops his welding mask onto a workbench and rushes out of the hangar with Hicks close behind. The moment the hangar doors slam shut, Miguel walks back in from the opposite side of the bay, carrying a heavy crate of titanium bolts and a specialized diagnostic scanner*
*Miguel stops, looking at the empty space where Miller was just standing, then looks over at James*
Pvt. Miguel Ferreira: Hey… Where did Miller go? Who was that guy who ran away?
Pvt. James Lowell: Server room emergency across the base, Commander Vance practically dragged him out by his collar. It’s just you and me for a bit. Miller said we can start on the upgrades, but he gave a massive warning about staying clear of the main power core, or some bullshit like that.
Pvt. Miguel Ferreira: *Sets the heavy crate down on a metal cart with a loud thud, wiping sweat from his forehead* Great. One less person yelling in my ear. Let me guess, the prototype is unstable again?
Pvt. James Lowell: Understatement of the century. The wing flap just tried to take my hand off a minute ago.
Pvt. Miguel Ferreira: *Steps closer to the exposed paneling of the Harrier, setting up the diagnostic scanner*. This circuit is garbage. If we don’t recalibrate the flight controls before messing with the wiring, the hydraulic actuators will continue firing on their own.
*Miguel slides a rolling creeper cart underneath the belly of the jet, right beneath the massive, heavy hydraulic landign gear doors*
Pvt. Miguel Ferreira: Pass me that wrench I dropped, James. Let’s try to stabilize the exposed wiring first.
[lowk just realized Miguel’s lines should be in Portugease/Brazilian, lets just say he started to speak english, guys]
*Suddenly, a loud, high-pitched mechanical whine echoes from deep within the jet’s engine bay. The landing gear doors violently swing inward, and the massive, heavy hydraulic metal gear starts to go down right on Miguel*
*Panicking, Miguel kicks against the floor, throwing his body backward. He barely rolls out…[Read more]

Yesterday we had to take Barkley to the MP, yet they still say reason\’s the worst crime here, but why am I thinking of it? I
Have to go, I could go, but why am I not? What\’s making me scar-– The writing at the end shows they most likely had to get to work.
