    @ralph
so, if you were going to hand off control of stickfigure submissions to someone else, (deciding what to upload and whatever else goes into it) who would it be

excluding myself to not influence ur decision

its unlikely or impossible that community members would be even given a chance to control it.
the only people who’d seem partially eligible for controlling the stickfigure submissions would be the admins themselves.

stickfigure control has many factors that needs to be controlled by it’s manager.
the choosing needs to be unbiased, and it is required to set a proper standard that isnt too high or too low. you also have to make sure that the things put in it arent duplicates, and etc.

in my eyes, literally 0 community members seem eligible for the task, it’s the sad truth in my eyes.

you can’t really moderate something as community-influenced like the stickfigure page without knowing the community itself

what Squi says is true though “would be the admins themselves” – yes but for example, arcionek was a “member” who became an admin

honestly he is someone that could do it (not that I’m asking him nor would he likely want/have the time), sean too

there would be pay involved of course so it’s someone of a side job for some extra bucks

as for who tho – no idea
        it is tough

not only do they need to understand the quality control, it’s the duplicates that are a problem

I know things slip through, but I catch a *LOT* that others would not be able to because they haven’t been here doing this since 2014 lol

in the end, it would likely be someone from here
I’d probably hold an open call for anyone willing to do it
really make them understand it’s a “job”

maybe even have some of the nominees go for a trial run where they approve the same things I do and I see how similar the results are

getting ahead of myself here but, you asked, lol

i suggest like maybe, picking a small batch to curate the stickfigure submissions, so we wouldnt have to rely on one person, but the actions of an entire group
          (maybe like 2-3 people?)

          + another suggestion

make sure the ones who are picking dont actually upload their own stickfigs before others or abuse the system to their own gain, or dont let them change the standards that are required to submit stickfigures.
ive been in this site for 3 years and the detailed figure revolution ruined the standards of what is a “good figure” to the community, with people valuing detail over usability and versatility.

    • Even if it happened, it won’t.
Even if it really happened, no one would have allow it.

    • If this happened, favoritism would play a huge play in this
