i just found this comment thread where i’m getting roasted by everyone, which is fine, but out of all those people i feel like you two actually hate me. so here’s my response.

I know that i downvoted ur fig in order to get mine featured, and you seem to think that it’s “cheating.” well i’m sorry to say that it’s not. let me just re-tell you what happened in case anyone forgot anything.

– me and boot upload figs on the same day. our stuff is pretty close throughout the day, but at the end he starts gaining a lead. ralph @‘s me and tells me this. not to help me or anything, he’s just making an observation. This was about 4 hours before the feature is decided, and i was unaware that i was losing.

“thanks ralph,” i think to myself. i know that upvotes somehow contribute to download score, so i posted in a group chat with some of my friends and ask them to upvote my fig and downvote Boot’s.

next day, yay i win, boot looses, i make a comment on his stick revealing i was the one who downvoted him

now he’s mad, everyone’s mad, i didn’t really think it was a big deal so i was like ok whatever.

i was on a goal to get 50 features, i saw an opportunity, and i took it. i wasn’t even trying to hide it. i’m sorry that you think that makes me a dirty rotten scoundrel, but i simply took advantage of the opportunities presented to me. i didn’t make any fake accounts, or hack anything.

“riddled with cheats.” one time, i’m sorry to say that you were my only victim, since ralph made it so only ppl with accounts can vote immediately after that incident.

furthermore, i even asked ralph to give you the feature, which i had literally zero obligation to do. he said no, i didn’t argue with him since, like i said, doesn’t really matter to me. get over it, make another spaceship. i lose plenty of features to bs all the time. i complain, but at least i move on.
