@ralph i have some ideas that i think could work.

1.

Segment and segment children send to front, send to back, push back, push forward. Basically you don’t have to manually put every node behind or forward. You can select the main segment and put its children back or forward.

2.
Node correction. I don’t know if this would work but you could have an option where if a segment enters a node that its not a children of, it would correct itself to the next node by option. This could prevent hard work being ruined by not allowing segments to go out of its region.
