Copoctieo doesn’t have a skeleton, its just rather energy transported from the halos flowing throughout the body which allows him to move.
Without the energy, he is completely vulnerable.Brighter areas represent hotter and more concentrated regions of energy.

so if you knock off the halo will it turn to mush?
Well the energy located in the body will be contained for a while before decaying exponentially. It might last a few thousand or 100 thousand years, possibly a million depending on how much was left in the body before the halo was ejected. (All time distances i mentioned are mere specks compared to the length of his life, which is why the process seems slow to a human.)
He will then rapidly lose control over his body as it begins to disintegrate throughout portions of the body. When it completely fades, he will die not even knowing whats happening as all fluids in his brain have also disintegrated.
