Everything is covered, it’s spread is uncontainable. It takes maybe about 2 months for its spread to span all corners of the globe. Once it reaches down into the center of the world, it feasts off the energy, gorging itself and giving itself the ability to spread at cancerous rates.

It leaves behind almost no traces of life if there were any to begin with, all the structures are lost in the shiny sea of darkness. Only the tallest of skyscrapers remain visible but they too are engulfed. Nothing but silence remains, pure, unbroken silence
