@ralph Hey man I don’t know if it’d be possible but if I sent you a new file that included the fixed arm, could you replace the submitted file with it?

Hey man, thank you for posting this. This post has brought to my attention a pretty annoying issue with what is supposed to be the PERFECTED Scout model. Here’s a link to my post that explains how to fix it. It literally takes 10 seconds to do, but it’s something that should’ve been included on the released figure.
https://sticknodes.com/members/boot2/activity/1787060/Also thanks for using the new figure!

Fuck yeah! I’m really happy that Scout made it as the showcased figure of the log! I’m really unhappy about my apparent lack of testing before releasing the figure…
But that’s probably ok.
Thank you for including me! -
This is deeply embarrassing.
To everybody who downloaded Scout’s upgrade kit, I owe you an apology. I should have tested it further before submitting even though I was DAMN SURE I had all of the layering right.
I expect higher quality work from myself and nobody should have to fix an already uploaded figure.
So attached below is the problem and how to fix itHOW TO FIX:
Select the forearm joint, go down to the layer settings, set it to “reorder branch”, press “move to front”
Then select the branch circled in the picture and select “move to back”. This will fix the issue. It’s probably not a big deal for most people but this shouldn’t have happened to begin with.

yes of course tho i’d prefer just resend the filesince the file is already uploaded and has a lot of downloads/awards i can keep it (and replace it) or just take it down, and we’ll do a new submission

You’re good!
I’d like for it to be replaced. It’s got UC’d and I wouldn’t want to lose that.
Do you want me to send it to your email, send it VIA new submission, or do you want me to send it to you on discord?-
Replying to:
just do a normal submission with it via the app, i’ll see it

Me getting up every 2 years to release another OC and nothing useful

Whenever I get around to finishing his other angles I’ll release that too. That’ll break the 2 year cycle.
And then after that I’ll be able to move on and maybe finally submit a useful figure -
I’m still working on it! The “Promise Me” comic is still happening
Im doing something cool with the lighting. Since Scout is super shiny, I’m trying to make his shine as accurate to the lights in the room as possible.
This means I have to completely recolor the figure by hand every time I shift the lighting.
But that’s ok!What do y’all think of this so far?

61??? last I checked it was only 22 😭. There’s gotta be a fight breaking out in there.
EDIT: Turns out it’s not, it’s just the figure maker responding to everybody. I wish people appreciated the figure more for its style. It’s the dudes first submission and it’s incredible for that. Reminds me of Jackfly’s style. -

That’s a little easier said than done for someone like me. When I got to college much of my friend group was filtered away and we all do our own things away from each other. I’ve been preoccupied with college and I’ve generally gotten so bored of Discord that I’ve been drifting away from my friends there too. I’d like to make some new friends at college but people don’t seem as interested in it as I am.
This site is the closest I have to a diverse community, and I’m happy for it.
Much of the additional stuff you’re saying is pretty much shit I already know. Your message isn’t entirely directed to me of course but it’s stuff I think all Americans should be aware of. Being a different color, being an immigrant, being transgender, and being gay by no means define the content of a persons character. Everybody has it within themselves to do good things, and it’s up to everybody to decide for themselves if they want to do good. The idea that certain groups of people are evil is fear mongering and bullshit that only exists to divide us further.
Also dude we’ve known each other long enough to know that I’m not transphobic. Transphobia is fucked.
