The chance to glide to safety is actually a lot more than 1%. The wings generate lift as long as they exist and if the plane still has speed and altitude it can glide to safety

Would still be easy to modify it into a A1, A2 or any of the SEP variants though. Just change the gun and add that turret basket in the back and thats all pretty much since all other changes are im the systems and aren’t really visible
