Cats can be savage too, it depends on how they are raised. The majority of dogs, that are raised CORRECTLY, would defend their owners from threats and are very loving of their owners and perhaps other people. They love their owners and most of them aren’t monsters. Many dogs love children as well, and don’t eat them. Many of those dogs that you hear are eating people were raised in a harsh environment and raised to be monsters due to their conditions. Also many dogs were used for fighting purposes and that’s where many people gained their view of them being heartless monsters, they were RAISED for fighting and aggression. But the majority of dog owners don’t raise them for that.

Besides a similar argument can be put towards cats, when owners let them out to roam, they kill a major part of the bird population. They also feel less emotion for their owners than dogs.
