    I’m finding it really difficult to blend a basic orb head with a jawline/head shape, which one looks better (ignore the little lines around them)

    Or neither, because to me they honestly both look like crap

          It’s better, i’d say. The jawline is cleaner, though i think the cheek should maybe puff out a bit less and angle in more. Other than that, I think it’s pretty good, just mess around with it and see what you get.
