I got good and bad news, bad news is I’m totally stumped and have a bit of a drawing block, good news is I’m the block is slowly disappearing, but me being stumped is a little weird. You see, with my drawing, I had an idea from the start, but with your commission I have to think about what you are going to want and like while still interpreting your ideas. I’ll give you an update once I’ve started to figure things out.

@nightbeamanims let me tell you something about this site.
1. You will be despised for having a scarf figure
2. Ralph, Epitaph, Explosive Bullet are the main people around here but you can pick and choose sides if you so choose
3. Join many groups
4. Join the group, “Team Ralph”
5. Always keep practicing, that’s how everyone else got good
6. Have fun dude -

One more thing. Staging: when he hits the guy with his baseball bat he says the words, “oops,” so naturally I look over their to see what he says but at the same time I’m missing the action. You should direct the audience where to look instead of making too configuring for the audience. I recommend watching Allan Becker’s 12 Rules of Animation. And watch the staging video to learn how to stage properly.

The animation was better than I expected so ya got me there. But when he whips around the pole he should still keep his structure. There was no rhyme nor reason for him to shrink and disappear. I get that you’re trying to make a sense of illusion, but if you want to do that you should just keep body parts stretchy. And the fighting was a little too fast paced (personal opinion) if you want he audience to look at something and tell what’s going on then you should slow it down a little bit.

When I watched the movie I think I had to high of a standard because the only thing that kept me in was how much the animation was improving. Which didn’t get as far as I hoped. hopefully, if or when the movie gets revamped, I will rewatch it and determine if the improvement is a greater quality than me just not liking the movie
