    ASSET(S) #343, #344, 650
    SPECIES: “Odobenocetops Leptodon”
    CODENAME: “Whalerus” (Whale-Walrus)

I thought that it would be time to check on our aquatic animals. We got a bit of fish, some rope and an underwater camera. When we went out of the cove we had to stop because we saw some strange shadows in front of our boat.
We were discussing what the shadows could be, one of them swam up to us and jumped out and we all recognized the gray, spotted hide and the walrus-like head and tusks. It was an Odobenocetops. Odobenocetops is a species of whale that has adapted similarly to two other species of aquatic herbivores, the Manatee and Walrus. It uses its strange head to suck up sea grasses and filter them into its stomach. The two strange tusks are used to both stir up sand and attract mates.
We also saw a small new addition to the pair.
