What is the best way to animate two characters? Is it to animate one character first? Or animate both at once?
-
animate one character at once, it’s easier to perceive how the other character will react, for example, if it’s a fight animation.

As Bluzzy said.
I’d normally animate the movements of one character in a movieclip.
Afterwards I animate the other one in a movieclip too.Since the movieclips match up, I can always delete the project frames to add details to the scene, or to add more figures. By simple pressing “add frame” the movieclips will slowly play again
