Modern day rap/hip-hop is all trash. In the early 2000s (even before I was born) it was really good, had a different rhythm and flow for each song. Each song had a different emotion to express and make you feel awesome. Now its like
“F*ck your b!tch with cocaine AY, Your irrelevant get out the way YUH, Suck my 0.5 inches AY, Lean makes you GAY AY”
Something random but ya it’s disgusting now. It doesn’t show any emotion and you’re basically sampling the same exact trap beat with a different synthesizer and that’s it. That’s why I listen to Rock/Metal/Emo(Rarely)/Punk/Pop Punk. It has variety.
I like Rap Rock tho cause it differs the variety in lyrics and instrumentals.
