also in my personal opinion, the fact that you and the judges moved the deadline just enough for the seasoned (and if we’re being real, de facto) winners to get their stuff done is kinda wack
I’m not evil and I wouldn’t wish the feeling of cramming stuff into a deadline on anyone but the fact that jack and people of his skill level are basically guaranteed a win for the third time in a row because the deadline shifted by the request of like one dude and his friends is uncool to me

The reason Jack and people his skills are gonna win is because the fact that their entries are advertisable or worthy as something I want to see. people will see the animation and go wow with the stuff made possible with Stick Nodes animation features. It not just “who wins the contest” it’s about who makes the BEST entry.I am waiting for many more great submissions to come during the expand time.

i have nothing against jack but his entry into at least the 2020 halloween contest was not, in my opinion, deserving of the #1 spot yet he still won first place like the previous time
that’s why i said “de facto” winners, ALONG WITH the fact that he’s good
also this comment doesn’t really address the point I made
yeah jack and his friends are guaranteed a win because they’re good thAT’S WHY I’M MAD THE DEADLINE WAS MOVED
the deadline was moved, and in my eyes it primarily accommodates the people who are guaranteed a win anyway

yeah sorry i know, and i didn’t take it lightly, but there were 4 people who requested it (not including jacks friends he mentioned) so it wasn’t like it was just one or two people
it won’t happen again for any future contest like this, i’ll make it more clear there’s no exceptions to the deadline
AHEM
you fail in assuming I will revoke this

Yeah, maybe, like, the 25th as the due date, not the 30th
Cause, like
Christmas

also to answer your question, they are due on the 30th (so 11:59pm on the 30th is the deadline)
the winners will be announced on the 31st
so this means i can submit at 11:58
Then that means if jack should win this contest then it’s cheating then
