Congrats on 5 years dude. You’re one of the top people that I turn to for inspiration and I admire you, just a shining example of a respected, courteous, and talented community member. Your contributions to the site at large, and not just stickfigures but just general presence, community, etc are so abundant, you are a gift to all of us man.
Sorry I didn’t see the post earlier as well, like IG said. I just do daily UC votes on the site at this point and only scroll through activity every once inawhile but I’m glad I saw it on activity feed because I seldom want to miss one of my favorite bro’s anniversary post.
Best wishes for the future and everything it has in store for you brother, keep your head up high and keep striving. If you ever need anything hit me up with a ping in your discord server 👌
And also, 10/10 pixel art. Just obligatory atp, great masterpiece.

Most people active in the Forum don’t even animate. 🫤

This is the Titan submarine but space instead of the ocean.

In all honesty I give it a 99%, I genuinely think it’s a great animation app and there’s none like it on the mobile market that can compete.
It’s come a long way and there’s always room for improvement (hence the 1%) but I give it a 10/10 satisfaction. 😁
Community is like 2/10 though but that’s besides the point. -

There’s no direct private messaging in sticknodes, but a roundabout method is to create a private group and then invite that person you want to talk to.

That’s actually a really interesting technique. I went ahead and tried it (Simply made a double of each frame) and went back and deleted a select few (Mostly the aforementioned butt-stock hit and Rifle shots) and it turned out surprisingly good.
There’s definitely still some touch-ups with the speed I need to do but a test anim is always for experimenting. I’ll have to work on the anticipation and force of impact in future anims.I might use this more often, thank you!

A short test anim.
Any feedback or critiques are appreciated. What do you guys think?
15 FPS, no tween.

I guess just that gun hit on the zombie like 4 seconds in looks a tad odd with how the zombie went down immediately even though the dude didn’t seem to have much force behind the hit
Other than that you’re doing good
-
one thing to coincide with what gigan is saying
something you could do that might look good is to animate at 30 fps, but just double frame
and then for stuff like punches or hits, animate it single frame so it looks faster, along with a bigger windup/charge
when animated at 30 fps and double framed, it looks half the speed, or like 15fps-

You certainly have a presence.
*Badum tss*
On a more actual note, the thing is using a measurement like this is inherently flawed because you have to consider a myriad of factors. For example, on-site presence or off-site presence? There’s a plethora of SN related discord servers and one person may be a well-established member of one or more but seldom use the SN site, this goes for a lot of older users (Compare Squi and Tastylemon for example).
Then, you could also be known, but more so because of the legacy you have/mark on Sticknodes. Somebody like Jackfly, who seldom uses the SN site as much as they used to, is still a very popular, well-known, and respected Sticknodes user who you’d probably recognize by name alone.
Then you have somebody like Master Strike. He’s been on sticknodes for awhile but doesn’t really say much, he’s more like an observer. He occasionally makes funny memes as commentary on ongoing events, but that’s about it. You know him, but not much else besides surface-level.
The SN Community as a whole has many different niches and is stretched out across multiple different platforms so using such a metric-based system to evaluate your online notoriety isn’t the best way to go about it. I guess it would work if you’re trying to ascertain the opinions of other active on-site users.
