Haven’t been doing much besides animating and trying to improve my style, thought I’d try to incorporate double framing to give my animation a choppier look. Any tips on switching from 1s and 2s would be appreciated.
I’ve only done one or two animations with double framing, so I can’t give you a whole lot of advice.
But from what I’ve picked up, on some rare occasions in a scene, at least for me with was worth making one frame, not doubled. I only did that for maybe 2 frames for an entire animation.
Milky’s sent it here before but this while not exactly telling you how to do it, explains the upsides of double frame animation and was a good help for me. https://youtu.be/BBoVomEOKbc
