After the influx of controversy and flame wars caused by my plan to bring back the Golden Age, Operation Golden Age has been discontinued.
The plan was set to prevent drama, not cause it and now that it’s no longer a secret (thanks a lot Ramox), the plan is useless.
As for the greater good, I’m discontinuing progress on ‘the plan’. Whether this leads to our glorious golden age or the dreaded coming of the mainstream gen 4 I don’t know, nothing is really certain anymore.

The golden age is about peace, and keeping it. Sure there may be a few tards here and there that start arguments but they don’t get big. People want sticknodes.com not “arguenodes.net” there has been enough trouble and betrayals on the website and I don’t see why propaganda is being made about the one hoping to fix it, epitaph mostly. Some think he wants to “ban all scarf figures” well, most stick noders are scarf figures, so don’t joke about that. Honestly I just wanted to say this cause answers had to be made.

In all honesty, it would’ve been nearly impossible to get the fabled “Golden Age” back.
I could talk about technicalities, but that’d redundant and it’s obvious you’re talking about the community, not the site as a whole.
Thing is, we’d never have the Golden age truly again because peeps change. And most of the time the changes stick, at least for awhile.
Honestly we should stop trying to go back to the good ol’ days, and make a new one.
Not by driving out hated communities, but by (at the very least) tolerating them, and tutoring them so they can get as skilled as some of the older members.
Sticknodes probably won’t go mainstream ANY time soon, but we need to stop being so pessimistic about the future

Because if we don’t show them kindness, they have no reason to show any either and that creates a cycle of toxicity, that will never end if someone doesn’t A. Admit they’re wrong or B. Try to find a middle ground!
I’m probably gonna he sticking around this place far off into the future (Atleast throughout my teens) admittedly, maybe I’ll stick around for wayyy tooooo long. But I wanna stick around a place where new comers and old comers don’t have unfair stigmas about them, and get along in imperfect harmony.

There is no Gen 4, though it’s highly expected that Gen 4 will be mainstream trash which no one wants, signs are already showing since the arrival of some mainstream rap enthusiasts (whom I personally despise)
