While the Ancient Utopians thenselves died out during the great Demonic battle of 2.0.0, their creations lived on.
This is an Overseer, a powerful machine which is designed to defend certain locations of the Outskirts. Their primary form of attack is their light beam which is hot enough to simply disintegrate you there and then into water vapour (even Chimdi whose body might as well be made of fire). However, as it is made of light, this beam can in fact be bounced back at the Overseer with a mirror or any other reflective material (a very shiny sword, a VERY glossy floor). This means you could simply pull out a mirror and point it just right so the laser reflects right back at the Overseer and straight through it, killing it instantly.
However, though they have this MASSIVE disadvantage as well as their slow speed, do not underestimate them as their armour makes them impenetrable to melee weapons aside from laser or hardlight weapons or weapons with specific enchantments (Ancient Utopian Spear, Aether Crossbow, Epitaph’s Cosmic Glaive)
