Alright so I needed to make sure I had plent of detail so I scaled my new RHG that is still a work in progress up with @thegamerxcrf Centinel. I forgot my guy was a 7 foot monster.

God damn, I could never make such a figure xd
Lmao. You need a lot of time to make stuff like this.
1 are you submitting this masterpiece
2 what gun dose he prefer
Certainly. He prefers a mix of sniper rifles and assault rifles.
what the hell explosive
what even
I did this. I extended his legs so he would be a certain 7 foot guy. Just like I made him, but this. This is intimidating.
I salute you for making such fine work
Thanks. Just ignore my Burj Kalifa of a guy.
This update for my character was much needed.
“Made in
ChinaCanada”Not this one you Asian bastar…. I shouldn’t say this in public.
at least I don’t smell like MAPLE SYRUP
*you have been banned for being racist*
Hey, I’m in North America here. We eat with forks. If anything we should smell like poutine.
eh true
Bulk?

F**kin’ awesome but I’ve noticed a problem since Bullet 4.0.
Clutter, you’re making the same mistake 343 made with their new art style.
You’ve stopped with simplistic things and while it looks gorgeous, it’s no longer looking like StickNodes, it’s uncanny.
So maybe, for the sake of art (and your node limit), maybe consider simplifying a little and instead spend those nodes on lighting and shading
I could make a simplified version, but Usually I like throwing limitations away and going all at it. The whole cluttered detail is pretty much the whole military thing where they have all the pockets and crevicesin their gear. While I could drop back with detail, I usually like to push my own limits as well as other peoples. Idk. If people don’t think they could work with this design, they could always drop back and stick with my RHG 3 or 4 that are much simpler.

Well, Smooth armour is way more effective than rugged as it lets objects glide and bouce off as it disperces the kinetic energy over the whole shape. Helmets ain’t round for no reason.
It’s one of the reasons i prefer smooth armour. Not only in it futuristic but it’s also super-effective
Rigid designs are made to catch things whether they hit you directly on or hit you by your side. That’s the science in fibers like kevlar. Smooth designs often become useless when you get hit head on with a sharp chunk of metal. The chances of a bullet bouncing off of a helmet made in the shape of the top of the human head are very slim as theres hardly any chance that they will hit that perfect spot where it will just simply ramp off.

Then how come helmets aren’t just spiky balls
This is a very interesting topic
Yeah.
headbutts are a fatality
That is more of a weapon. Not meaning that rigid of a design lol.

So, more like tenny little bumps, like carpet if it was made of super plastic.
Still, I’m used to imagining Arrows flying at the armour so i use that logic and knowing that I’d know rigid armour could be a death wish if not designed right as it would concentrate all energy on one point
That’s why you get thick armor. With that the force will be able to disperse more. You can’t really prevent penatration from projectiles unless you are able to catch them by the point were theres less force. That’s what rigid designs are made for. Smooth is best suited for swords though. While rigid is more for guns and arrows. Pretty well why there was a shift between rigid and smooth that past 500 years.

wait a minny’ min’.
plate armour, which is smooth, is invincible to an arrow, denting at most.
Plates are used inside rigid armour pieces today to suit direct hits. For example, ceramic plates within armour vests. Rigid designs on the outside of armour are built as a frontline counter to bullet impacts. Then the force of the bullet then is usually dispersed well under the plates. 90% of the time the plates in the armour are destroyed from head on impacts with bullets. They is mostly why rigid designs are held outside. But in terms of my RHG. Theres a lot of plating. The rigid design is mostly the gear like ammunition, ridges to allow movement between joints and other stuff like tools.

Ay m8, you ever heard off Graphine?
Heard it’s like Carbon Nanotubes on steroids because it’s as stretchy as organic material while as hard as F**KING DIAMOND because it’s atomic makeup is entirely interlocking Carbon Atoms, exactly like a diamond.
Pretty much is kevlar but made up of carbon nanotubes. Though I like to keep a fine line of my RHG modern and futuristic. Something like graphine would also be very expensive as of today. There would still also be the penalties of mobility in weight and how stretchy it really is with carbon nanotubes piled on top of each other.

No, m8, I’m talking as flexible as SKIN and hard as actual DIAMOND. Kevlar is nothing compared to Graphene

MatPat did a Film Theory on some Hitman Film i mever heard happened where he’s talking about Kevlar and Graphine, it’s real interesting.
Huh. Sounds like a really wierd material. Though 100$ per gram is fricking expensive. Alongside that theres the stock of it that probably is low, not sure. On top of my guys armour anyway is an overshield like what spartans on halo have. Just watered down.

Yeah. But the future!..
Nah. I’m not a fan of the far future stuff.

*mumbles and grumbles*
They’re built off of actual human anatomy. The armor makes it slightly bulkier. I didn’t want to move with a stick figure build.
Epitaph didn’t say the details made it bulky. He just said it pretty much doesn’t fit for stick nodes. They bulkyness like I said is the result of my making it off of real human anatomy .
Then again, it’s not really meant to be a normal figure. It’s built to be a more accurate representation of my character, if people find it has too much detail, they can drop back to my RHG 4 and 3.
Man left me impressed with your figure, even my figure seems very basic in front of your figure, this motivates me to keep improving and maybe someday improve my OC, but Centinel is also gigantic, almost the same size as your boy.
He’s 7 foot? I made my guy have some longer legs. That’s why he’s so large here.

Could you some help?
Do you mean “Could Use Some Help?”
