Minor update today, just the mask and eyebrow plus some small adjustments. Now all that’s left is the eye, ear, and scars for the head figure, then I move on the the glasses and hair.
So far I’m really liking it, it’s growing on me more and more. The mask alone looks pretty weird but I hope that adding everything on top will fix that. If not I’ll have to go back in and fix that.
I’m also trying to add touches of line thickness to help with the drawn effect so I think that’s something I’ll keep trying to work on. Though I will need to keep trying to improve going forward.









This is sort of a next level enhancement and by no means is it easily doable but on top of the shadows you can additionally add some gradients to show more contours and shaping of the face, for the mask it might be what it needs to differentiate itself from the face.
Overall for what you’ve got though it’s awesome, absolutely killing it with this rendition
Thanks for the advice lemon, I appreciate you taking the time to do so. Any references or examples of what you’re mentioning just so that I’ll have something to study. Additionally, node space willing, I’ll defiantly try it if it seems doable.
I’m trying to make this rendition as good as possible while still keeping it semi quick. I’m just about ready to start everything else with the series so nows the best time to go all out and see what takes too much time, and what fits.
