The head is almost done. All of the definite fixes are done now. All that is left are the harder more experimental changes/additions like a more straighter jaw line or adding in the eyelid functionality.

Once I’m finished with the head figure the glasses will be next. I will attempt the hair next but that will defiantly be a challenge so I may skip it and move on then work my way back.

Thanks. Sadly I’m not very fast with figures just yet, but defiantly a lot quicker then V5. Regardless, at least it’s worth it so far.

    • The addition of more of a rounded pupil plus what you already have is a good choice, the kite shape of the smaller one looked too tiny and didn’t really stand out enough.

I would say now for the eyes, go ahead and adjust the blue to either another more if fitting colour or if you want to keep it, add some detailing like a gradient between the red and blue, possibly considering throwing in other complementary colours into the mix.

If you need any help with the hair then ask away, I have some ideas that I’m willing to share given you need it.

I can finally get to this now, sorry for the delay Lemon.

Good idea with the eyes. I thought the blue would be nice, but it really doesn’t fit too well. I’ll start experimenting to see what looks best. I want to avoid green since there’s a lot of green already, but if it looks best I’ll use it.

In regards to the hair, I actually have a question on how to approach facial hair. I feel that I do well with drawing it, but I have issues with doing it in SN. Any recommendations on how to approach it?

Hm, I’ve never really toyed with facial hair much either but I guess you could either do something where you get the shapes you want then add a grid so that way you save nodes and simulate the tiny hairs, mainly though for thicker hair go with a shape then add the detailing around it where you can along with some strands curly or not sticking out from the edge of the beard, not the part on the face though.

You could even use that method of the No fill gradient where you put many thin triangles next to each other but with less triangles so it’s more obvious it’s not a gradient but not enough to make it seem irregular.

P.S You have drawings of said ideas? I’d love to see some if you’re willing to show.

I’ll see how to implement it myself. I may have to ask you for any specific critiques if I can’t figure out how to make something once I start it.

Additionally, ill dm you the drawings on discord in a minute or two.

As always thank you for the help Lemon, always appreciate it.

No worries, I’ll check Discord next time I visit it.
