He doesn’t sound like a great friend then.
I understand people can make jokes once they get to some standard of friendship but often it’s not a committed enough friendship and the joke is hurtful.
Lesson of the day: Don’t make friends.To be honest this isn’t great in some aspects but as long as you maintain some casual friendship between people and keep to no friends you should be fine.
