Hey, @Ralph, @oblivionanims told me to suggest that maybe if you double-tap a frame, it previews it?
Like, as if you went into panning mode. No segment handles or the origin mode showing.-

First, make your OC in the Instant Transmission pose. Add a frame, then clear the previous frame. So you should have an empty frame and a frame with your OC. Grab your favorite dash effect, and in the BLANK frame, place it over a part of your OC. I usually start with the hair, so I copy the hair color and put it into the dash. Do that with every part until it looks like how you want it.
Add some blank frames in the beginning and then continue to animate your character after the ‘Dash-Effects’ frame, and you’ll be good.
