Primal humans, but they’re half animal (or at the very least, a Batman situation (a suit that mimics traits of an animal)). I already came up with a name and costume design for one if I do just up and pull a Batman, which, after thinking about it, I think I probably will.
Might have some horror-ish elements in there too, if I make the design match the story.

Could work, it depends which direction you will take the story. Some people think that if you use certain words or put a character in a spooky place it’s a horror story, yet if you want a truly good story that directly follows its genre than i’d advise including everything you can to follow that, this would include dark environments, uncomfortable situations, traumatic experiences.
