Leave the kid alone guys. He did a great job at replicating the poster, the colouring is well done, especially for a 10 year old. Highly doubt that this is a trace, its more of a ‘looking at a reference, then putting it on paper of your own’ type of thing, and that alone requires skill.

I just watched a timelapse from the account. it is now a proven fact that he doesn’t trace. but it’s a undeniable fact that almost every picture and video of an iconic character from Gaming/Media matches the art style of the source material, i at-least want an explanation for that

read the negative comments they made at franco’s venom art. dont tell my 10 year old kid to grow some balls. he takes constructive criticisms and apply his peers suggestions. i wouldnt interfere if there were no below the belt comments here. research before you comment. thanks.

Well, whether if you’re Franco’s mom or not and this is about tracing and all that whatnot, just please monitor his activity and tell him to stay away from the toxicity of some people and some groups, the sticknodes community can be unstable at times, and monitoring it is the right thing to do for someone his age.
I’m someone who likes what he does, and this is a good start for a young artist like him, just please don’t overreact, and tell him some life lessons that he can learn to not make any misunderstandings like this again.
i undrstand. but he is not the one who started all this. he just posted his artwork of venom and there were kids who accused him of stealing over and over. thats why i interfered. i wouldnt interfere if the issue can be handled by a 10 year old boy with special needs.
the accusstions msde him feel bad and worse, he did not tell me and just pretended he was sleepy thats why he went back to bed. even if he just woke up. then i checked his tablet and saw the negative comments here. i knew then and there that this affected him negatively. thats why from now on j will be monitoring eveything here.

yes, some people here are unnecessarily ass-y sometimes, but a lot of it is just people trolling for a laugh, but when the troll-ee responds negatively – no matter where you are on the internet – you just “fed the trolls” and it will only get worse
point is, there’s no way you’re going to protect your son from “the internet” especially if he’s sharing any sort of creative work, there’s always gonna be people just antagonizing for a laugh

I often deal with art theft, nearly on daily basis (I am a moderator of few art & animation communitities). I guess I had developed sort of stigma. There had been few of issues even when using a base. One person uses it, doesn’t say it was a base, then another person uses the base and people start getting confused. On one of those communities we even made a rule to even post the original source if it was traced or it was a base.
While the venom art is good, it is also heavily referenced 😐
It’s a shame really, but for example if someone used my art for a reference to replicate from without giving me credit, I’d get angry at it myself. This is why I end up finding these stuff kinda not ethical to artistic etiquette.
Once again, I apologise for being too harsh, your son is definitely talented one, but also would be great to be mindful when reposting, recreating, using someone’s work without giving away proper credit to the owner.

I dont know what are peoples deal honestly, Even if the art was traced or heavily referenced its still a very impressive piece of art. Specially for a kid that age! Hell im like fourteen years old and i cant even barely color like that. Though not sure why people are so mad when its just a kid trying to impress people with his art, i really dont. I guess it really shows how toxic some peeps are in this website.
