I just watched a timelapse from the account. it is now a proven fact that he doesn’t trace. but it’s a undeniable fact that almost every picture and video of an iconic character from Gaming/Media matches the art style of the source material, i at-least want an explanation for that
the art is referenced, if that helps

Seems like Franco is a kid that copies some images and paints them at his way
Nice drawings but people say he traces them and just prints, it’s amazing that the drawing is so good that it makes it look like prints, they are just copies of the original image but that doesn’t mean it’s bad or mediocre, he has talent for such age
Anyways I checked further more and this is for francos parents
They tell people to have better manners and stuff and yeah respect is important yet, his mother reacted very aggressively knowing she is in favor of respect, calling somebody a fag8ot and I’m just saying, they need to be respectful when talking with others, we know they acted wrong but still, you don’t want to be like them, you should aim for the best
i guess i went overboard. i admit it. but soon you will understand where i am coming from and why i said the things i have said. sometimes a bully deserves to have a taste of their own medicine.
i am very protective when it comes to my kid. we arent paying for therapies etc just to be ruined by people who are vey ignorant and mean. we paid for this sticknode because he wanted this and we thought this would also expand his knowledge about arts, because users here are artists also for sure, thats why we gave in. only to find out that this platform would only cause him emotional distress. worse, he is not telling me what he feels. he sulks. but i am his mother and i know when he is feeling down. i checked on his tablet, and he left this accoj t open. read the negative comments, and saw how helpless my son is. we try our best to improve his condition, but there will always be monsteres eveywhere. and i want my son to see and to know that i will back him up always! no matter what.

Instagram is a great place to share his art with all policies and ways to block trolls, stick nodes community is kinda primitive with all the drama that comes everyday
My suggestion would be sharing art on instagram and keeping your child away from stick nodes community until he’s ready
thats what i am tfying to do now after seeing how primitive the sticknodes community could get. but i cant stop him from making sticknodes arts here because he likes it. what i can do now is to religiously monitor this account and check on his interactions here. but that doesnt mean i will tolerate bullies here. thanks for the advice. preciate it.

if you noticed all of that kid’s comments, you would know why i got mad. he even told other kids praising my son’s artworks that my franco stole this art. why would he spread rumors like tat? why all that hate for my kid? the others were praising franco’s art, but this kid went his way to comment again and make those people believe that franco stole the art. that kid is full of hatred and jealousy in his heart. pity.

the whole drama started because Franco posted art and people were skeptical that it was traced
for me, it ain’t really traced, its more or less “heavily referenced”
traced is directly tracing every detail from the reference image
meanwhile what franco does is take that image and transform it into a movable stickfigure.
the accusations, from what ive heard are just pure underestimations from the lots and lots of complexors imo.

Well, whether if you’re Franco’s mom or not and this is about tracing and all that whatnot, just please monitor his activity and tell him to stay away from the toxicity of some people and some groups, the sticknodes community can be unstable at times, and monitoring it is the right thing to do for someone his age.
I’m someone who likes what he does, and this is a good start for a young artist like him, just please don’t overreact, and tell him some life lessons that he can learn to not make any misunderstandings like this again.

yes, some people here are unnecessarily ass-y sometimes, but a lot of it is just people trolling for a laugh, but when the troll-ee responds negatively – no matter where you are on the internet – you just “fed the trolls” and it will only get worse

I often deal with art theft, nearly on daily basis (I am a moderator of few art & animation communitities). I guess I had developed sort of stigma. There had been few of issues even when using a base. One person uses it, doesn’t say it was a base, then another person uses the base and people start getting confused. On one of those communities we even made a rule to even post the original source if it was traced or it was a base.
While the venom art is good, it is also heavily referenced 😐
It’s a shame really, but for example if someone used my art for a reference to replicate from without giving me credit, I’d get angry at it myself. This is why I end up finding these stuff kinda not ethical to artistic etiquette.
Once again, I apologise for being too harsh, your son is definitely talented one, but also would be great to be mindful when reposting, recreating, using someone’s work without giving away proper credit to the owner.

I dont know what are peoples deal honestly, Even if the art was traced or heavily referenced its still a very impressive piece of art. Specially for a kid that age! Hell im like fourteen years old and i cant even barely color like that. Though not sure why people are so mad when its just a kid trying to impress people with his art, i really dont. I guess it really shows how toxic some peeps are in this website.
