Aight, quarter-yearly post time. Just wanna let y’all know that judging by this update log of Pivot’s 5.0 beta version, Pivot’s tryna be the next Stick Nodes. I’m gonna be honest, SN is still far superior, but Pivot is getting there.
(it took them until f*cking 5.0 to do this, holy hell, and they don’t even have movieclips yet!)
Also, bug with the website
0 notifications. Thank you, Stick Nodes, very helpful.

idk, it glitched and greyed out my filters as if Use Join Parent Filters was on even though I unjoined the figure. Maybe something to do with the Add Tweened Frame button.

It\’s not been a quarter of a year yet, but I\’ve got a bug to report.
@ralph Alright, so here\’s the situation. Use Join Parent Filters (the checkbox) is broken if you unjoin the figure before you turn Use Join Parent Filters off. I first noticed this after adding a few tweened frames between when the figure was joined with Use Join Parent Filters on and when it was unjoined, so if you can\’t find the bug by simply joining and unjoining figures, try that.-
i can’t quite figure out what you’re saying the actual bug is
i just added a joined figure to a parent and checked that box, messed with it, unjoined it, rejoined it, joined another, etc
it’s working as intended?

Yes, yes I have. I was working on something cool with a Shadowwrath figure that I made and boom – crash. And I lost it all cuz it was a movieclip. I lost motivation after that.
-
I was just playing TF2 x100 with the gunboats and the Beggar\’s Bazooka and I shot 100 rockets and then my TF2 crashed. My Steam also crashed.

I literally mentioned in the post \”You\’ve said yes to this in the past,\”
-
@ralph do you have any estimation for when we\’ll be able to add longer mp3 files to our projects to act as music or something? You\’ve said yes to this in the past, and I feel it would be a rather useful feature (ESPECIALLY for people who want to make synced animations)
-
i think he already said that his got actual music as a planned feature but im not sure

well uh, you said to act as music but i think ralph said hed probably add actual music in too but most likely non copyrighted ones

not really, sorry
its because of a limitation in the audio files when loaded into LibGDX (the framework that SN is built on)
they are limited to 1024KB in memory (which just so happens to be the 5,6,7-seconds people claim sounds last before cutting off)
I mean to request they make this something the user (me) can change on a per-app basis, but they may just cockslap me down

also since it was mentioned
“music” =/= longer sound effects
music will be a different beast, with different UI and ways its handled per frame etc
