More lore than a bio There is a set limit of energy in existence between frigid yin energy and blazing yang energy a balance between death and life and the god of sage emperors is the only one who can guide shuch boundless energy but with the ability his life span decays as the universe is fair and just. Exulted power above all is met with the price of losing your immortal body. Because of this a tournament is held to find the successor to the god of sage emperors, the linchpin of all life. The choosing of his successor is extremely important as it will influence the balance of the universe if he is to aligned with yin the universe will be thrown into a state of chaos, death, destruction and wicked,but the people living inside will be strong as a result. But if they are aligned with yang energy the universe will become bountiful, fertile and as such itll become frail as more lives are created more energy is taken away from the universe as they cultivate and sap its life energy because of this the universe collapses on its self killing everyone within it thus being reborn into a new perfect universe. As a cultivator grows stronger they become the new god of sage emperors if they win. The universe is in a forever cycle to out do itself by the next god of sage emperors being much much weaker then its successor. If they pick a weak god of sage emperors the universe would most definitely run out of power. In order for there to be natural order in the beginning of all time automatic entitys were born what humans call gods that act as check points for power. If a weak god of sage emperors was chosen these automatic entities would most likely be drained of energy by the cultivators of the universe. This is the reason why a good seed is so important is because much like lighting has immense power if used a lighting rod the power would be much greater such is the sole job of the god of sage emperors. If a bad seed is chosen the existing power of the previous god of sage emperors power is gone only the existing power of the universe is left behind and the new god of sage emperors power is supposed to fill the gap left behind, such is the role of automatic entities so there is still energy left when the god of sage emperors is gone for the brief moment. the God of Sage emperors is always behind a lotus because of his high concentration of divine energy and pureity though he can control whether or not it appers because the God of Sage emperors guides all energy in existance that means that no one can face him this being he could simply guide all of their energy out of your body effectvly killing them or chose to completely erase them from existence would be simplicity in it of itself, however the current God of Sage emperors is a kind hearted person so he dose give people a chance if they chose to face him but if the task of killing them fairly takes more than a minute he will just teleport them trillions of light years away from him
