Heres a long lasting helpful list of tips:

Take your time. Trust me. Those animations arent going anywhere and its not a race

Dont animate one limb at a time. The amount of times I see new users do this…it just makes makes me wanna…ZBXKFJLAHKDAODHAfhlajsglhlafljCAlhfa

Dont, and i mean DO NOT ever get used to tweening or add tweened frames. Trust me. Its like an addiction for new animators.

I’m gonna completely agree with Taukshi. PLEASE watch The 12 Principles of Animation by Alan becker.

If youre confused, I got a youtuber to recommend. His tutorials are so short but GOD DAMN did they help. His name is Mr. Onyx, search him on YT. I recommend 1-3 vids a day, dont overwhelm yourself. His vids are short AS FUCK. Like 4-8 minutes.

Try downloading projects from people. See HOW they animate, and what their methods are.

Now this one? This ones important. Let’s say youre making a punch. You have the initial poses for a punch, right? Yeah, but do you have the right movements? Most likely not. Yes, a punch is easy, you just move the arm back and release it forward. It portrays a punch, but is it REALLY a punch? No. It’s just a movement. You need to actually consider that your characters are human and they have to simulate human movements.

Another tip? Dont be afraid to ask for advice. We were all new at one point

Final tip, dont be like those annoying new users who post dumbass stuff and comment every 2 seconds. Post animations, be respectful, hang out with some ppl, get to know someone, and just overall indulge (is that a word?) into the community.

The site wasnt made for rapid comments, annoying posts, and irritating people with cringe GIFs. Most new users dont get that. I think youre off to a nice start and you look like you got tons of potential.
