Getting there lad. Just keep looking for little mistakes. Look at other people’s stuff and how they move and how they did it.

-
@epitaph200 do you think you can make a front stickfigure of this
-
That’s a nice fig, you used Jake the Wanderer as the Base didn’t you?

Lol i think grey copied Jake so yeah.
SlapStyle is releasing his Fursona soon (Shasta) and he’s way better so I recommend waiting for that to drop.
Also, Jake’s getting a complete remodel.

@ralph @epitaph200 more improvements
-
lol better
but main node, too
you just gotta look at it, you can see it looks robotic, like he’s just pivoting from the main node, like he’s stuck
subtle movements like that give life to simply moves like this
don’t get me wrong this is an improvement though

Basically, he moves kinda rigid, like a robot would.
Make it more smooth and fluid -
Replying to:
what epitaph said is the main summary
for example stand up and do the motion he does, but KEEP your torso/hips exactly where they are do not sway them at all
it’s unrealistic to do that, you look weird, it probably feels weird
you gotta move the main node too in this case, so it looks like he’s not robotic
-
-
-
Good that there’s now body movement though now it’s a little puppet-ish.
Try using the ‘Add tweened frame’ button-
Replying to:
could you explain what that does btw? ive been trying to figure it out
-
Replying to:
takes two frames, go to the first frame, you press the button, and it adds an in-between frame between frame one and two
-
Replying to:
So it makes it automatically smoother? That’s useful actually
-

Ok bud, your still new to animating and you need to improve so I recommend not to use tweening. First just learn animating without tween then you may tween or whatever. Trust me, I’m the best animator here.. from what I’ve seen….
