I think paid multiplayer compatibity is the most retarded thing, and I think all of you agree.
I mean, I (or your parents probably) already paid 200$+ for the console, 60$+ for the game, and now you expect me to pay more to use my own internet?
It’s not like they need to the money either! Well no billion dollar company really “needs the money” but by them not needing it I mean that they aren’t doing anything
Microsoft/Sony don’t run the servers for their games, the developers do. And yes I know Nintendo has paid online rn and whilst I’m still mad, it’s not AS bad as most killer-apps on the Switch are Nintendo made meaning they run the servers, and the online service is cheaper than Microsoft/Sony’s.
Microsoft is especially cheap because they’ve been doing this for years. Atleast Sony had free online until the PS4 when they saw Microsoft was making loads of money for nothing.

Like, I’ve been thinking about making a little Naruto fan series, but fan-fic type stuff comes off as kinda cringey sometimes, and it’s Naruto, so it’s bound to get made fun of even harder, but I dunno, I think I have some good ideas. What do you guys think?

BTW the whole news about Dark Boy dying? It’s fake

I’ve had deaths in the family and no, funerals don’t happen a f$%king day later. Not only do you have to give their loved ones some time to cope after such terrible news, but having a funeral takes time, money etc. Thanks to @redtheanimator for informing me on the SNAC Discord server

OK
I’ve watched ep 1 & 2 of Dimensia and I can wrap the story up as…confusing
Ep 1 doesn’t explain jacksh!t, and there’s a lot of asspulls. Like how the main character just grows wings? Why he just instantly teleported to this place for some reason? How all these people who SHOT HIM and were pretty hostile towards him are suddenly on his side, and he just forgives them (I don’t know about you but if I got shot I’d be pretty pissed)? Especially with how edgy this character can be (shown in Ep 2 when they encounter MIND) but then he’s jokey? Does he have a split personality or something?
There’s nothing wrong with using tween, professionals in the industry do it all the time and they’re big corporations with studios and big budgets and huge teams! Most SN operations are just one guy! Not using tween doesn’t make you a superior animator, and bragging about how you don’t just comes off as arrogant and ass-holish.
I’d also like to state what I’ve been saying for a while, THERES MORE TO ANIMATION THAN THE ANIMATION PROFESSIONALLY FFS
There’s a reason you don’t see base figures on TV, that’s because the standards are too high
They’ve been this high since the creation of the concept of ‘art’
Think of it like this:
A lot of people think all there is to FPS is aim, but there’s more to it than that
There’s good positioning, good awareness, good teamwork in most cases, good map knowledge etc etc etcNow replace aiming with animation
Animation is incredibly important, but there’s more to it than that
There’s good composition, good character design, sound design etc etc.Ok then there’s ep 2
They meet mind and then they go to some random abandon house. And then, the EXPOSITION DUMPSo basically they spill the beans about everyone and everything, and you know the saying show don’t tell?
Well…..
Like I’d be fine if all they did was talk about the 5 tyrants and why they’re fighting them, but then they also gotta give the character’s description and it’s soo f#%king urrgh
Like we already knew what each of them did!
Also one character smokes, and I feel like the whole “That’s why he smokes” would’ve been more natural feeling if we already saw him smoking. Like you could’ve just left one hanging in his mouth and we would instantly get it.
You don’t need to explain why he smokes. Just from the backgrounds alone and the fact that he shoots everyone he first meets, we can tell that he’s seen some sh!t.In ep 2 like I said earlier, all of a sudden our main character gets real edgy for one moment.
So in episode 1 we can tell that the main character can be serious, but does have a sense of humor, shown when he said “Move man this dudes heavy as hell”
But then we he meets MIND and it’s controller, all of a sudden when she starts threatening him, he starts being really f#%king edgy
The screen gets tinted black, his pupils shrink, and he starts cussing and saying edgy stuff?
Where did this come from?
And then he takes her out np.
Like no one mentions his unexplained heel turn (unless when the guy says he’s “Scarier than she is” counts, which no, it doesn’t) and it Just felt really out of place
If you’re going to have an edgy character make him edgy. I’m not on the edgy hate train, I’ll make jokes about the edge but aslong as the edge makes sense, I can take it seriously but it’s hard to take edge seriously when it comes out of no where
It’s hard to fear blacksuit Peter when minutes earlier he was awkwardly pointing at women, buys a suit, and starts dancing…
And I don’t know about you but I’d like to know how you actually start a portal
Like I said there’s a lot of things that just happen, and some of the things that dont need explaining, get explained anyway, and it’s all done in one minute long exposition dump (and since these episodes are only 5 minutes, that’s an even bigger problem)
And don’t you dare tell me “It’ll get better I promise”
If you fail to book me with the pilot, then you probably aren’t gonna entertain me for long
C’mon people we all know that shows only get allowed a full series if the network deems it good. If a bunch of non-sense asspulls, inexplicable edge, and exposition dumps explaing everything (even things that don’t need explaining) were on TV?
Then I would officially lose faith in cable television.

Episode 7:
I mostly agree, especially on the whole grammar mistakes thing. It happens a lot in SN animations and it really rubs me the wrong way.Roux offering Cyan Claw to leave is not out of character. We’ve seen from the beginning that Roux isn’t the type of villain to first resort to murder. Infact she usually tries to assimilate her enemies into her army. The whole “I’ll let you live” is a common trope (especially in anime), it’s supposed to say “You are so pathetic, so weak, that you aren’t even worth my time”. Sure it might’ve made more sense if she tried to capture Cyan Claw, and assimilate him, but letting him go isn’t too out of character.
This one is pretty simple
It’s a joke, how do you not understand it?
In such a fast paced fight the jokes had to be fast paced with little time to dwell on them. The butt slap is also to represent Epitaph’s character on the website, as he’s said before that your main OC/RHG whatever should represent yourself, or an exaggeration of yourself. Now I don’t know where you grew up or where your parents work, but my parents work at a place called LabCorp, and stuff like passwords are just standard procedure.
Passwords for the workers prevent corporate espionage, theft, fraud, etc. It’s common sense. Hell passwords are pretty f#%king light man, most places need you to have a special ID card on top of that. And this is a war going on! OF COURSE THERES GONNA BE SECURITY PROCEDURES. Especially if they’re working around tech! There’s a reason you put a password on your computer even though it’s yours when its in your own house, because there’s a chance someone might sneak in and take it, and if they do, they’ll have easy access to your personal data if you don’t have a password.
It’s just common sense! The whole nude thing….eehhhh. It really depends on your stance on stuff like that. And also I know you haven’t been around that long but once again, the whole “Roux is T H I C C” has been a thing since she was introduced. I mean whatever it’s not invalid or anything.
Also the character additions were based on a couple of people Epi thought were cool peeps.
Episode 8: I actually agree on almost all of this. Just one note; the rivalry between Epi and EB movie-wise could be a classic tale of “Magic VS Machines” Iron Man VS Dr Strange, Skyrim VS Fallout etc etc.
Episode 9: I AGREE WITH ALL OF DIS.

Microsoft started the whole thing by making people pay money for something they could practically do for free. It’s stupid that online pay is necessary now, but it’s only necessary for most companies to financially compete. Microsoft spearheaded the move to monetize as many features as possible, along with other specific gaming companies like Activision and EA. Now other companies are following the trend for additional money. Microsoft be the worst matey.
