Ok.
Everyone needs to remember that not being a fan of something doesn’t mean ya hate it.

DBZ has always been a classic series.
Itās really the OG anime, and the only series that have as big of a reputation as it would be Naruto and One Piece.
I donāt enjoy many myself, but I can see the appeal.
The fast high flying action, as two gods beat each other into mountains is very entertaining to most in the animation community.
The stakes are constantly being raised higher and higher until someone emerges victorious!
There might be many other factors to it, but thatās at least why I think they enjoy them.

So.
I’ve animated a few short clips that should give you at the very least a vague idea of how my 2 latest figure’s power works.
They’ll be uploaded soon (Atleast if Ralph decides to upload them soon)
BTW @ralph the two packs will be called: Fiona Pack, and Cyclyptic Pack.
Fiona’s skin secretes gas, and a special chemical which ignites it. The range she can secrete said gas is is very limited, and she can only do close-ranged attacks with her blasts.
Cyclyptic’s power is very scary. He can teleport right in front of you (Or whatever you have your sights on) aslong as you’re in atleast 1 kilometer near him. As side note, Cyclyptic’s power is incredibly easy to animate. Really all you do is move him and use the blur and opacity filters to simulate his blink ability. I’ll upload Cyclyptic’s demo clip later, as the GIF file is too large for the site (Bummer huh)

Welcome back, we all barely mentioned you š

The circles on Cyclyptic are actually eyes, that allow him 340-350 degree vision. These eyes are very near sighted though, and he doesnāt have eyes on the back of his head, not that itād matter though, as he can see through other peopleās vision, basically eliminating all sneak attacks unless the eyes are inorganic, like a Robotās.

so.
Instead of working on the projects I said I would.
Instead of making characters for the series I’m participating in.
Summer break came for me and I fluffed around for a bit.
During the frivolity I was experiencing I made these two characters, casually asserting their dominance (That meme’s still relevant…..right?)
The one on the bottom is Cyclyptic, a cyborg covered in special blend of metals, tar, and clay. His special ability is that he can teleport to someones sight line (A.K.A he can teleport right in front of you, or anything in your vision.) using his blinks, but his blinks can also be used independantly, but with a much shorter distance. Using this blink ability, he can deliver a great blitz in a matter of a second (Or however long it takes for the average human to blink) devastating most foes. His unique exterior structure allows him to take even some of the strongest blows.
The one on top is Fiona.
She is a mixed martial artist who specializes mostly in boxing.
Due to her MMA career, she is very tough and has a high pain tolerance
Her ability is very limited Pyrokinesis.
She can secrete gas from her skin, and then secrete a chemical from her skin that ignites the gas. The distance she can secrete the gas is pretty limited though, and usually can only reach so far to cover her body.
-
As long as she has a fire punch attack Iām good
-
“casually asserting their dominance” lmao
they look pretty cool though
and I like the 2.5D kind of side view, prefer that over the full-on side view which is often less useful

Although she can scale it to cover multiple people

She can create a dome(s) that she can move, and scale. She inherited this quirk from her mother, a Pro hero. Currently she can only form 1 dome and it can only be around herself.

That\’s comic book logic fam.

I think similarity is an issue depending on what they\’re supposed to be. I mean, if they belong to different nations, maybe one of the designs are copied/Ripped off/modified to suit their purpose. Maybe it\’s just a different model of the same robot.

I actually already have the design, name, quirk etc for my Hero character. I only have bits of the design and the quirk for my Villain tho.
