Do you realise how flawed that’d be. The overall shape of a Sniper is very hard to alter without having to remove certain bits. Plus, it’s way too much weight to let the sword part work effectively

1) a musket is not a sniper.
2) adding a scope to a rifle does not make it a sniper, it makes it a scoped rifle.
3) muskets are also hard to alter without having to unattached certain parts entirely.

If you add a scope to a knife, you have a scoped knife (the most useless weapon ever).
Just cause it’s an animation, doesn’t mean it can’t just say “f**k it” to any means of logic of physics. By thinking extra hard and making things more realistic, you make it easier for someone to be immersed into your story
Why not just make a sniper with a long blade at the bottom?
Like a musket? Those old ones that have the little blade that they would use to stab people with, or am I making this up?

Well any rifle with a bayonet (the stabby bit). If you want a bayonet, you’re better off using it on a mid to short range rifle like a SCAR, AK-47 or a Vector-SMG.

Kinda, but not being as AOT’s way of grappling hooks isn’t that realistic being as it would probably break their spine or hips.
This would be slow to start with but would speed up over time, it could also be used as a zip line
