@areovibez ok I’ve got some time now, one question at a time, what would you like to know first? For every new question make a new comment on this post. Don’t reply to a comment with a question that’s not related to what we’re talking about on that strand make a new comment for it.

Also ask as many questions as you would like I promise I’ll get to all of them
Tysm! I have like, a journal of them, so let’s start of with question 1, how do you compose body parts or make your inspirations or trace, etc
The inspiration is different for everyone, for me I’m trying to make it to the UC voter badge, and this app is one of my biggest creative outlets. How to trace an image is simple go under project tools in the sidebar and you will see a button called “load BG (meaning background) image” press that and you can select an image from you’re camera roll to put on the screen you can even make the image on top of a fig to see how accurate it it without moving it, and you can change the opacity. And lastly how to compose body parts, I don’t personally specialize in characters, but I think I can give some basic tips, if you want it to look right I suggest looking at what proportions are correct online, and if you want some detailing on a part of the body like armor and want it to move with that part of the body, what you should do is make the length of the body part you want, then from the point where the fig can move it in circles around a the other point is where you want to start putting your details, I’ll put up a picture of what I mean and I’ll @ you so it’s more clear. If you are confused about anything don’t be shy I’ll try to clear up any confusion.
Alr next one! How do I make weapons?
THanks! next one~ so for detail, you should use gradients and polyfigures right?also congrats on the new realease!
Depending on the look you want, but most of the time yes you do want to use gradients. If you want it to look cartoony then don use any, but if you want it to look realistic you will be using gradients everywhere. As for polyfills you should use them to cover big gaps but most the time a 2-3 triangles or other nodes will fill a gap without as many nodes being used
ok, next, for like, backgrounds what do you need for those?
In case you get tired of waiting for me to reply go her and you can ask lots of people if they can give some advice or assistance

I won’t get mad! Your a really nice person, why would I? I really appreciate this man.
I’m kinda stuck on something, so like for background show do you do the layering?
Ok so layering, for a background you will want the farthest layers back to be the darkest, and the closest layers to be the lightest
How do you connect the stickfigs together? Cause I’m tryna make my oc and it’s kinda getting messed up when I’m making it
You know the squares that are the base of figures? You need to have two to connect them there is a button on the side bar that says join or something like join figs then you can attach both of those together
Can you show me a picture? And I’m surprised you still remember about this lol-
Unfortunately I don’t have access to stick nodes for another year and a half (if you want an explanation I can give you the link to where I explain why) so the best I can do is try to explain it in detail. Ok so there are two figures you want to join, and I’m assuming they are separate and not part of the same fig, so how how join figs is to take the base or the square node that you use to move the fig around and select it. Then once that is selected you go over to your side bar and scroll down until you see the word “join” and should also see another box to the left of that box saying “unjoin” now when you click the join button you need to have another fig to join it to. Also you can only join the share nodes I talked about, you can’t join the base node and a non-base node
Oh ok, and why don’t u have sticknodes anymore, ur to cool 🙁

Why not just hack into there password servers? Or do you not know how to do that- or did they use a different restriction-
The way they block me is on the devices we use there is a substitute for the app store called “self service” and they controlled what apps are on there. It’s one of the only reasons I found out about stick nodes
Want me to try to find a way to get through it?
Thanks for thinking of me but I’m good I think the risk outweighs the reward. The whole reason I haven’t factory reset my device yet is because I want to stay on the school’s good side so I can keep it when I graduate
Oh okie dokie!
Square nodes* not share nodes
