So I was taking a walk today and I came across someone who’s truck ran out of gas,
He asked me to help him push his truck to a nearby parking lot, and then said he would pay me 5 bucks to do it, I denied the money but he insisted that I deserved it after doing him such a favor.
So, I did what he asked, and I’ll tell you it was way more easier than I thought. Good thing the lot’ wasn’t too far away either so we didn’t have long until we found a good spot for his truck to park in.
Not even 5 minutes later I decided to go back out and attempt to find him, so I could give him a bottle of water, figured he’s got a long trip and regardless I thought it would be a kind gesture, there wasn’t much I could do but I figured he would atleast appreciate the water.
Didn’t find him, but his truck was still there.
Left the bottle, and a note. Saying “from the Guy who helped you, figured your on a long trip”(Spend 20 minutes rummaging through garbage in the woods to find a pen to write with, unimportant detail)
“Keep it” I also wrote.
It’s strange too, because I took an abnormal route today, and wouldnt’ve came across him if I just took my normal little trail across town. Hope he can find some gas or whatever he needs, and may God protect him on the-howeverlong-trip he has to take to go where he needs to go.
Goodnight Chat, hope you all rest easy. I still find it so strange that if I didn’t walk the paths I did, I wouldn’t have even known that he needed help, life truly is strange, isn’t it?
(Unrelated, streak officially restored!?)

This is the certified ‘good deed’ song I couldn’t help but post it alongside this little story I had to tell tonight.
Once again, goodnight everyone.
Also I deadass gave him one of those slightly expensive sturdy water bottles because fuck that cheap ass thin ass plastic shit, hell naw.
Everyone deserves a good travel bottle, we all need water, after all.
