I lost all intrigue to these spidermen designs after the first couple hundred however many came out.
I really don’t understand why Spider-Man of all characters is hyped so much, he’s a cool character but damn, so many others would absolutely clap him both literally and by how much more interesting and unique they are.
well, to be fair, he’s almost never done correctly in recent media, because writers overdo his “trauma” and he never gets wins. spider-man may not seem unique to you, but he was a pioneer in the concept of the “relatable hero”. This teenager with amazing powers is not only symbolic of breaking through the struggles we go through in everyday life, but the fact that anyone can be super, regardless of those struggles.
the dude is a really original and near-perfectly done superhero when you get deep into it. from trauma, love, and school to fighting alongside earth’s mightiest heroes, spider-man is the “people’s superhero”. he also utilized the iconic mask in a way no other superhero really has, branching off into several variations of the character while keeping the same concept and integrity. even flash, another one of my favorites, hasn’t quite captured this the way spider-man has.
Modern media butchered superheros
For relatability I can understand there but I just personally enjoy seeing characters that fit the less so much relatable status and more have their own interesting set of abilities and aspects to them.
I think any character in one way or another can be seen as relatable so once again personally I just can’t say I appreciate Spider-man that much, nonetheless I respect that we all hold our own views.
after the first couple hundred
