Torrettes is a mental disorder that causes the person to make odd noises, move in odd ways or say something against their will, usually this unannounced ‘tick’ as it’s called is very sudden and very erratic.
The version i have is the weaker and more common kind, I’ll jitter and make an odd noise every now and then against my will. My arm may feel the need that it wants to stretch, my head may suddenly be in the mood to suddenly jolt forwards, my voice may deem making a high pitched coughing noise is vital. I can have SOME cobtrol over them however, stopping them from being way worse and being able to change noises and movements in a way that they can be disguised in public. Thanks to this ability, every single person I’ve told that i have torrettes never knew before.

1) autism does not smell of maple syrup, though that’d be cool.
2) they’ll have a teaching assistant to help them. i have one in class to make sure i pay attention due to having poor attention span and a near magpie like allure towards glowing things. if they have them 24/7, they may either get lost quickly, feel threatened without company or are that sheerly incapable of taking care of themselves.
when autism is in it’s lowest form, asbergers, it can create some very unique and special individuals. but in a more extreme form, it’s depressing to see how little it can reduce a person to. i feel very lucky because of that.
